I am sure everyone knows that ranking high in search engines means lots of traffic and huge potential to make money from this traffic. There are so many factors that affects your page’s ranking in search engines but for simplicity here are top ten factors,
(1) Keyword must be in title
(2) Keyword in headings (h1, h2 or h3)
(3) Keyword in keywords meta tag
(4) Keyword in description meta tag
(5) Uniqueness of contents
(6) Page Rank of page
(7) Number of Back Links
(8) Quality (PR) of Back Links
(9) Keyword used as Anchor Text in Back Links
(10)Age of Domain and Page
I hope this will help begineers. This is by no means the complete list. I just listed the top factors.
